Equipping children with adequate skills and knowledge so that they can  participate in tomorrow’s local economic system,
Developing the skills of the chidlren and the community in basic hygiene and in the protection of the environment,
Putting into place structures required for environmental protection, management  and preservation.

The future local economy depends on the next generation. If there is nothing done for the local community :

Traditional Tibetan culture will be lost,
The region will be exploited by a population from other parts of China : this region, as in Tibet at large, tourism is growing fast and if the local population does not have the means to integrate future economic systems, the region will lose its identity, its culture and there will be no future for the children.

The serious gaps in knowledge in basic hygiene and in the management of the environment  generate serious health problems amongst the children.

Health problems will worsen,
Health problems will be transmitted to visitors and tourists,
Local tourism will be impossible,
The pollutted river will  flow through neighbouring areas and pollute them too.
